#Start9…I hope to save up & afford one in the future, or to build a media/file/chat/bitcoin server for home and family use. I have been exploring Raspberry Pi 5 as a potential base for my setup. I want my device to have RAID5 w/ 4x 4 TB NVMe drives.

I need to explore what Linus Distro is best/robust/secure/versatile enough to perform these functions.

you should start with a Virtual Private Node. you will get the Linux and command line experience necessary for the use case above. and it is a cheaper alternative.
