at minimum, it is generally acknowledged by most christians that humans and angels are both "created beings"

i think if you have mastered space flight and regenerating the body then ... yeah... regenerating the body... and we can add in "from its state at a point in the past" and voila, resurrection and a "heavenly body"

based on what science we have at this point i think it's a reasonable extrapolation that maybe what the people were writing about was this kind of technology... mastery of physics and biology... and why do they know when to come back? mastery of astronomy - they are coming back because shortly after they show up the place is gonna get blown to smithereens by a shower of rocks, the same rocks that missed last time when they (the "angels") departed for heaven after first relocating to egypt and then the war broke out as they were in their early space travel phase

it's got proper credentials as being at least as old as the old testament but what it talks about is something else, and if it actually was written before, it is prophetic

the essential point was that adam was just a guy from the middle east who they taught agriculture to, and they brought him one of their girls who liked him, and she was a tricky bitch friend of "satan" - thus she was in the habit of talking to him, and she persuaded adam to rob "god" of fruit he had specifically said don't touch
