I understand where you're coming from. I took the COVID vaccine, and it was with a heavy heart. Perhaps my conviction to send my dad, who passed away during lockdown in the Philippines while I was alone in the UK, was more important to me than putting my foot down. Was I hesitant to take it? 💯 Yes, but the choice was between travelling to send my dad off for the last time or not travelling at all: I would choose the COVID vaccine over and over again. My point is that every behaviour has its own reason behind it. It may not seem obvious to us or to others, but it would be unwise to dismiss them simply because they do not align with our values or beliefs. There is more to it than meets the eye.
