ofc realy is one of the fastestest... i'd be quite pleased to see someone benchmark its performance, i spent a LOT of time making the json parser the fastest in the universe

nostr:npub1s3ht77dq4zqnya8vjun5jp3p44pr794ru36d0ltxu65chljw8xjqd975wz is using Nostr to break entire books into parts, upload the parts, transmit them across the globe and download them on the other side of the planet, reassemble the parts in the correct order and display them as a single document. Those books are now being quietly spread to relays all over the planet. Drip, drip, drip.
We can even put the different parts on different relays and then pull it together in the client, seamlessly. Once we include local relays in the relay management possibilities, you can download the books in seconds to your phone or tablet, and read them offline.
And it's fast. And we haven't even tried to make it faster, yet. 🤯

Then we might have a use case for it. 🤔
i so wish i could get funding to work on it full time, i'd totally love to add full text search indexing on it, a document relay really needs that ...realy #realy 🦉
That would be worth an OpenSats application, IMO.
yeah, i think they are opening applications again, i was looking at it a few weeks back and it was closed due to silly season
We're not averse to people working on our projects or supplying us applying for OS grants. Liminal already has, after all. We just aren't planning on doing it, as a company. You can refer to our project in your application, if you help us use your relays.
I'd go for it.
yeah, i've put an application in... no idea how it will be received but whatever, might as well try
gotta keep up the work on my paid gig in any case, i want to at least finish the little recommender/database cache server i'm building before i go full time on realy... my employer has been great for me this last year, not a typical cult creep outfit, something more like in between a subcontractor and VC farmer - former Gartner associate researcher is the CEO, best of all, no bullshit with taxes or anything, just pay me monthly to my designated bitcoin address for the month and that's that
also, yeah, i mentioned that the full text search feature i want to add to the database is in part to support the gitcitadel/alexandria document stuff, i know it would help
