The sleeve for FACT 14, “The Return of the Durutti Column” was made of sandpaper.
It was done to destroy any record sleeve that was to the left or right of it.
A record to destroy other records.
And this record destroyed other records not only by its sleeve but by virtue of its sublime pieces of music that exist almost outside of time.
