My chest freezer is busted and I just spent two hours moving around meat and boxes of butter to the other fridge. There was a pool of watery blood at the bottom so everything needed to be dried off. The meat in bags from the butcher was a nightmare to clean. I appreciate the tightly sealed meat more because it’s way easier to clean. Thanks Costco! I’ll take the microplastics in my balls tradeoff this time.
During this process I considered different things to solve the problem. I thought about running down the street to buy a new chest freezer and renting out a truck to bring it to the house. I considered buying a bag of ice and dumping it in my tub with the meat in there until someone fixed the freezer. I thought about ordering a chest freezer from Costco and having them deliver it for me. I also thought about having a neighbor hold the meat for me temporarily.
Our lives are so convenient because of modern technology and there were so many options available for me to save a month’s worth of meat. And there are still retards out there insisting we need to end capitalism lmfao.
