really? I was reading the noctua fan manual and it said use existing screws if possible, used the ones with stock fan and it's been fine! maybe we got different stock ones though

Yeah that’s possible. I initially purchased the 40x40x10mm ones (looks like the one you have) but my stock fans are 40x40x20mm (a little taller). So I’m returning to 10mm and getting a 20mm tall Noctua. Both are 5V 4-pin. Even though I want the lower profile, I’d rather not deal with the hassle of trying to find a shorter screw.
