You don't branch?? Wut?

I had no idea there's a nostr dev podcast. Listening.

Is there? What's it called? Nostrovia or "Thank God for Nostr"?

Both are good

I've started calling it `MASTER` in all caps now

Gonna rename mine “daddy” to annoy other contributors

I should really think more before I post 💀

Are you a conspiracy theorist or something??

exactly. 😂

Continuous integration came out 20-30 years ago....

Like this "strategy" that nobody ever needs or could possibly understand, unless you are some kinda masochist and love conflicts.

This is like the 'gitflow' model. Its useful in an enterprise context where there is alot of legacy code without automated test scripts. I say 'useful'; I'm not sure it really is. The business rarely carries out adequate manual testing so it creates a lot of headaches for little material benefit.

Exactly. I suffered through that methodology for about 6 months while we were testing it out at a startup. Even with a dozen engineers the conflicts were such a large overhead to grind development almost to a halt and make everybody hate each other 😂
