True, but you have to be hardcore to use Linux. If you walk into Costco or Walmart, on average the Windows machines will be much cheaper.

Not! I mean not cheaper. Just buy the cheapest machine you want and install any Linux on it overwriting (or dual boot) Win at ZERO cost.
