It is patently false to claim religion, at least the Christian one, doesn't apply the laws of nature to the moral needs of humanity. The natural sciences were basically founded by clergy and educated laity of the Christian faith. I don't mean in part, but the whole of the scientific endeavor we know today would be fundamentally and radically unrecognizable without the Christian thought.

The Christian religion is well aware of the natural laws.

Then to claim it doesn't apply those laws to the moral needs of humanity reveals a lack of knowledge about religious thought. The Church has dedicated much thought and energy to the moral needs of people in their various circumstances.

Rather than the blanket claim, provide an example of what you mean.

As an aside, I say respect of persons is a judgement of value. It comes from philosophy, not natural science. "Respect all persons" is good, but "respect all persons equally" is false. Some people, and some religions, are deserving of greater respect than others. Such as scientism is not a respectable religion, as it doesn't even recognize itself as one. Likewise for any Pegan religion, wokism, etc. And people who spend their time making dismissive remarks about others' beliefs without basis are also less deserving of respect.
