Remember the Verizon guy from the 2000’s “can you hear me now?” commercials?
I’m inclined to make a “can you hear me now?” joke. Or something about Van Gogh. Or something.

Van Gogh cut off his own ear. Mine was due to Gladiator-like battle.
The Verizon guy was short & unathletic; not believable against my frame.
