I've considered it. I could go with the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra, but maybe I go Galaxy S24 with a lapDock*.

The phone uses the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and tablet use the Gen 2, so the phone will likely outperform the tablet in processing, but then the tablet has up to 16GB RAM, whereas the phone has up to 12GB.

Plus, the phone has cellular, whereas the tablet doesn't for the Ultra 🤷‍♂️

Unless there's something I've not yet seen, it looks like Samsung DeX is still much better than the built-in Android desktop mode. It may be workable.

I have a Pi 4. I like it, but I don't think it'll outperform my laptop, so my phone would still be the better option. I can try, though.
