Point taken. I’m not here to say what anyone *should* do. Everyone can do whatever peaceful action they want.
As far as if it helps them, we criticize westerners with banking access who use regular fiat or people who monetize stocks, bonds, and houses with their savings instead of Bitcoin. Does it help them? People voluntarily do a myriad of self destructive things, but does their volition automatically mean that it’s helping them? I don’t recommend *forcing* or using the word *should* to anyone to say, stop shitcoining or to put down the bottle of alcohol. But a “hey, that’s probably not good for you. It’s only exacerbating the problem. You might want to reconsider” seems reasonable.
In all those above cases, their actions are only perpetuating their own enslavement. The only path to liberation is Bitcoin.
The point you are missing is most people using tether cannot handle the bitcoin volatily.
If you live paycheck to paycheck, like most of the world, a 30% drop in your purchasing power means you can't pay rent or you can't eat dinner
So tether is very useful for those people

I know that the volatility is the main counter argument. I don’t buy it because the only way anyone can free themselves is with long term savings. With fiat as a monetary instrument, there is a precisely 0% chance of that working. At least with Bitcoin, they have some chance at long term savings.
So a guy from El Salvador that makes 15$ a day, and spends 15$ a day for rent and food, you think he should buy bitcoin ?
