When Tim May posts his npub or nsec to login to the nostr nests it says not a valid key.
Using cell phone.

You have to log in with an extension. You can't use your private key.

Tim was hoping to do a talk and only has a cell phone.
I will ask him to work on figuring this out.
What cell phone do you have? Install the app called Nostore for Safari or the Kiwi browser and Nostr Connect extension for Android.
