Why the wait? Just the unspecified "compliance holdout period", or did they provide any explanation of their own?

It took time for the feature to rolll out to my account. Sorry if I wasn't clear. I was trying to test Coinbase's new Lightning feature last week and it didn't work. I ended up emailing bitcoin to my Lightning address email address 😂 because my account didn't support Lightning yet.
