This conflict me in some way if you grown up in a family that was mostly poor back in the 60's 70's 80's in Mexico. Well that say family is been working a lot since then to the present day. So always been in PoW but without earning Bitcoin at least for the rest of my family, (I am the only one now winning in Bitcoin btw). PoS and PoW only apply to that uncle if you know about my story. But yeah PoW is always gonna be forever no matter the monetary system, just with Bitcoin is more rewarded that's all.
