I would never actually use Amazon S3. I use DigitalOcean Spaces usually, but you could also use Wasabi, R2, self-hosted Minio, or any other S3-compatible service

I learned very quickly not to use Amazon S3 + Cloudfront as I left it on for a week once and then the bill came in at 500$ 💀
