It works on Twitter, Signal, Telegram etc. On Amethyst it says that Amethyst doesn't support image insertion.
Yep... That's google's component not working with Google's GBoard :) That is what we are waiting for.

What are other apps doing to make make this work?
They generally don't use the framework we use. The are using a new framework called Jetpack Compose, which is the future of Android development, but doesn't have everything yet.
