These fees are making me feel like Ordinals and Runes are ruining the original value proposition for #bitcoin. How in the world is the Bitcoin community/nodes allowing this sort of BS and spam? Shouldn't we be rejecting this kind of shitcoinery?

It’s a valid bitcoin transaction. Spam is a value judgement. This will pass. They will eventually get priced out. Until then they are paying the miners.

I mean they were always valid bitcoin transactions. There wasn’t a change to the bitcoin protocol yesterday.
