#Bitcoin conf 2024 in Nashville is super corporate and minimally fun - feels like an autoshow more than a bitcoin conf.

2/3 of the pit is Mining companies (which is great, though one can tell that many of the smaller ones are weird or scammy). The other 1/3 of companies appear to L2 shitcoinery.

Consumer payments / products layer seems very thin this year. No Cash App, no Swan, no Bitwage, no Bitpay, no Blockstream, no Foundation, not even Coinbase or Binance. No mechanical bull and other social gimmicks with prizes and stuff.

That said the gallery is dope (and should be bigger)
