Any hardened money to exit fiat. Silver is used for PCs/servers/miners etc also in medical industry. Aerospace/Military
I like numismatics/Ancients
But to stack silver is nice just in case of electrical grid failure/EMP/Solar flare. When devices fail or there is a time of transition to a stable energy source to power our devices (War etc) I feel a tangible emergency fund or minor allocation into metals is a nice option. Barter ability. I do believe silver can squeeze and is suppressed prices from the COMEX. The amount of paper silver/ ETF holdings that banks claim are synthetic like the same with those short sellers and hedge funds on the stock market
It’s nice that JMbullion and other bullion sellers online accept crypto. I’d rather hold physical precious metals than stable coins if bearish.
Gold has been soaring silver had a decent 1 yr run
I might side play and stack 5 oz of Platinum. Around 1K USD an oz rn. 40x rarer than Gold. Silver’s cousin.
Having 3 Oz puts you in top 1% of physical platinum holding worldwide. Feasible.
Maybe in the future I can help numismatic collectors and silver/gold stackers on NOSTR :D
