Just crazy!
It makes you wonder if it wasn't some kind of concerted effort, perhaps due to something underground. Just think of all the infrastructure that was abandoned, water, electricity, etc.

nah, America just likes cars and totally was not infiltrated by any lobbying towards more car centrism, highways needed to be built.
Also, there seemed to be a push to destroy anything that could cement America as a historically enriched country, and make everyone fucking depressed. just fiat things
I've noticed this to, there are people who don't want the US to have a rich history and culture. And as long as the average person is too busy chasing their fiat dreams they will never take the time to build and preserve their heritage. Makes them much easier to control. I wonder, how much the banks have had to do with this?
