Over a long enough time scale, 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝙞𝙣 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗮𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁. The mantra “𝘚𝘵𝘢𝘺 𝘩𝘶𝘮𝘣𝘭𝘦, 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘤𝘬 𝘴𝘢𝘵𝘴” is truly a wise counsel, and once you follow it, it’s vital that you secure your bitcoin in cold storage.

While Bitcoin is a great way to store your time and labor where it won’t get debased, to transfer money that can’t be censored, and to separate money from state, Bitcoin has another purpose: teaching you 𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲.
