I do know about it, I also use it for trading with friends. But it's basically a privacy freak club token.

Even the drug dealers now take Lightning (those that take any crypto at all), I have heard from people familiar with the matter. And they quite often don't take Monero, because they can't swap it to fiat at least in Europe on Binance 😃

This is just incorrect.

No drug dealers take LN except in extremely niche cases.

Maybe you have heard of different drug dealers. It is difficult for them to accept Monero, because they just want to receive it on Binance in the end, so they go through a Lightning wallet to get both privacy and usability (network effect).

I have seen that the customers are allegedly nudging the dealers to accept Monero for their own safety, but they don't want it and proudly present a Lightning invoice.

every time I check dread on tor there are zero people discussing lightning in a positive light and there has never been a DNM that takes lightning
