Bug bounty! Let's try this:

21k sats in ecash for the person who can reliably reproduce the "Could not verify proofs" error in the cashu.me wallet.

My gut feeling is that it happens when the user has multiple mints and switches back and forth between. It seems to happen especially during a mint-to-mint swap. The safest way to test this is to create two mints on LNbits (legend.lnbits.com) by yourself so you can't lose funds when you get the bug. You can delete the browser local storage to reset your wallet (funds will then disappear!). Happy testing!

Info: I do not recommend using the inter-mint swap in cashu.me until we know what the source of this bug is. Use your own mints for testing!

Sorry, meant my wallet but not my own mint. I was connected to the mint that #[4] made a bunch of tokens for yesterday, and the 8333.space:8333 mint

I don't know if this a mint error (something might be wrong with his mint) or the wallet. Hard to say, if you can reliably reproduce it, I'll fix it! Would be very grateful for that!

Got two different errors

The image was that same “mint error” again. I hit “swap” and then switched mints.

The second attempt to replicate (video) gave a new error.

Then it left the display with both mints showing 54 sats apiece (the other screenshot). When I refreshed, those corrected themselves but it was funny to see.
