Sadly, some of my older family members are extremely NPC. After a lifetime of MSM brainwashing and the total destruction of thought from it, all they can really do when faced with difficult realities is exclamation, “That’s a conspiracy theory!” And shove their head in the sand, never to look at it again.

I use to think I was obligated to have them ‘get it’ but I now realize they’ll never get it, and that’s ok. I’ve met great people throughout my life who do get it and wanna rap deep with me about these topics. They really value getting to share in those conversations, and want to join the party to be a playable character in the world.

Not everyone is capable of being a playable character, and that doesn’t make them bad or wrong; it just limits what is possible with them. I now focus on just keeping things with them as ‘normal’ as I can and considering that allows for things be stable and easy for everyone else in the family and that works well.

Ecclesiastes 2:13 I saw that wisdom is better than folly,

just as light is better than darkness.

14 The wise have eyes in their heads,

while the fool walks in the darkness;

but I came to realize

that the same fate overtakes them both.

15 Then I said to myself,

“The fate of the fool will overtake me also.

What then do I gain by being wise?”

I said to myself,

“This too is meaningless.”

16 For the wise, like the fool, will not be long remembered;

the days have already come when both have been forgotten.

There's a great philosophical puzzler called "The Talos Principle". It poses tough questions that "force" the player to reflect on their own beliefs and see the errors in them. These type of games were really what got me out of the NPC-mindset (besides bitcoin ofcourse).

I've been working a while now on a long article to promote this fairly unknown gaming genre that truly changes a person, potentially at least. Should be finished by the end of the year.

Very relatable 😊

When the NPC feel that they are not being judged, they get a chance to become less NPC. You are doing gods work. Thank you ❤️

Why do conspiracy nutbags always get so upset when the world tells them to fuck off? Why do conspiracy nutbags think the word wants to listen to their stupidity?

You want to be a conspiracy nutbag, go be a conspiracy nutbag. You get up in my face like those fucking Mormans and Jehovah's Witness, and you'll be told to fuck off with your stupid bullshit.

Keep to your fucking selves you selfish, dip shit morons.

I read this twice thinking maybe it was intended to be ironic. But I don’t think it was. Anger is the refuge of the weak-minded.

It can be hard to accept that some just don't want to know and they remain blissful in their ignorance. The programming captured my fam too. People who still use the words "conspiracy theories" even after the past 4 years, are just telling on themselves. At least we have nostr though right? Stay free 🫶

I’ve made the exact same decision with my family and most friends. They don’t want to know. They refuse to know. Curiosity is simply not a value. It’s strange and I don’t understand, but I value my relationship with them and have decided that outranks my desire for them to see. Even if I find it degrades my level of respect somewhat.

Same here, whole family turbo normie. I observed that they are hating themselves pretty seriously, when they are making a mistake they are very hardly berating themselves. I guess everybody is programmed to feel this way: you are killing the planet, your are privileged, your ancestors were the worst people imaginable therefore hate yourself. And when you believe something is wrong with you, you give up looking after yourself and your self interest and spiral into self-hate, addiction and mindless existence.

The goal is to wake up people to love themselves again.

It's all a conspiracy theory until it becomes a reality and then it's not a conspiracy theory anymore, right?😅 Keep your curiosity alive 💙

We can't blame those people, i feel you, and i now how hard it is. My family grow up in Yugoslavia a socialist system, you can't change the mind from someone wholistens to this his whole life.

i have a feeling something like this strategy has been tried before. in the years leading up to the Russian Revolution.

it seems to have been followed by a century of living hell.

just sayin'... not offering any answers.
