Example about gaslighting in an EU country. A major (respectable) newspaper has a story about how the city center of the country’s capital has 150 businesses (stores, restaurants…) less in 2023 than in 2019.

According to the story, the explanation is that the city center is not accessible, it’s hard to go there. While the city actually has a very good public transport system and decent amount of parking space for private cars.

The story says absolutely nothing about how the scandemic in 2020-2021 purposefully destroyed small businesses. Also nothing is said about the useless “sanctions” against Russia have actually targeted EU countries and skyrocketed prices.

Lies. But the truth must be protected.
