Check the illustration - it's pay-to-write. Anyone can add paid relays, but they will be read-only unless you pay. If you've paid for eden, then everyone who reads from eden will see your stuff in global (good discoverability). I'm not sure if eden in particular is one of the best choices for speed & latency, but it's one of the best for readership. nostr.wine has been the fastest for me.

Ok, I payed 18,888 to nostr.wine and added wss://nostr.wine .. let's see what happens
You need to do a little bit more config:
1. Add this relay (it's your own npub, you can verify it): wss://filter.nostr.wine/npub15wcvuhts6rdj9zzhq6etru2yc6ry5ljg9zk070u0q89xk065452sjvqy0q?broadcast=true
2. In Amethyst relays page, tap on the globe to TURN OFF global feed for all relays except for eden, nostr.wine, and filter.nostr.wine
Do that, then check your global feed. You will see spam reduction of 99.9%
