It's largely premined, it's unsecure and they're advertising 10% APYs. You sure you would promote this to your grandma?

It’s secured by Bitcoin… And the APY is paid in real Bitcoin non custodially…. Yes I would promote this to my grandma.
You should really do your research instead parroting what you have been told about stacks… not to be mean… just sayin
It's not secured by Bitcoin 🤦
You should know that software security starts by writing and reviewing code. Less developers and more complex codebase == less security.
Why would anybody store their wealth on something less secure?
“All data and transactions on Stacks are automatically hashed and permanently stored on Bitcoin L1 on every Bitcoin block. Anyone can verify that some data on Stacks is valid by checking the corresponding hash on Bitcoin L1. This compact storage of hashes on L1 is somewhat similar to rollups (although there are other differences).”
This is straight from their website.
Yes but this is not what I was referring to. It doesn't matter if they're bloating the time chain with txs, it's the code that your stack node runs. It's not offering anywhere near the same assurances as Bitcoin Core.
Also I want to point out that this shitcoin is not anything new. I was also shitcoining back in the day and was thrilled about KMD and it's Delayed Proof of Work technology which was basically the same. Offer smart contracts, APY and same "security" as Bitcoin by hashing the network state to Bitcoin blocks.
Stacks is nothing but a copy, nothing new and innovative here.
Some of us like to gamble and there's nothing wrong with it, it's ok. I go to casino sometimes myself too. Promoting casino tokens as something new and innovative just is wrong.
