I don’t like proton I prefer Tutanota.

Why?

They have collaborated with government agencies on several occasions.

So you think Tutanota won’t do the same if push comes to shove? They will 100% do it. The question is how much of their users’ data they’re able to see and forfeit to the authorities.

No tutanota it’s not better but they just haven’t betrayed yet

Tuta has to give user data as well or the gouvernement would shut them down immediately.

You can run a self hosted email server.

all proton can give to the government is your ip address. just use a vpn that does not log and accepts lightning.
