Quick Tip:

If you have a container garden, put clear plastic wrap over the top held on by a bit of tape. Each container becomes a mini greenhouse holding in heat and humidity. You don’t need a big fancy greenhouse to get started.

Once the plants get too big for the plastic, remove and cover the soil around the base with shredded newspaper. It will keep down weed growth and slow evaporation.

PS you can grow a crazy amount of potatoes in a large tub or 5 gallon bucket
