Learnings from yesterday:

⭐️ not one person asked about sending me a payment in BTC, which I am used to. Still early.

⭐️ I was asked too many times, „Do you have Venmo?” Venmo is the clear leader among the 20-somethings and I am horrified.

🌟 also asked if I had Zelle, but not as often.

FTR, I HATE Venmo and Zelle and have neither.

⭐️ cell service was bad, so taking payments was slow for everyone.

🌟 playing nostr:npub1yfg0d955c2jrj2080ew7pa4xrtj7x7s7umt28wh0zurwmxgpyj9shwv6vg and decking out my table in stickers was a win for starting conversations. Getting to tell someone WHAT it is and WHY it is—followed by a quick demo—knocked it out of the park for one dude (def in his 20s). I think I turned on the light bulb.

💡 ANY OF US CAN DO THIS ANYTIME, ANYWHERE

⭐️ in that demo, I realized how little I had to say about Bitcoin. The focus was music and artists. And oh btw, tip in BTC 😉

📱 it made more sense to send people to Wavlake.com even though I demo’d using my iPhone. I didn’t want to go down the rabbit hole of test flight and beta testing.

⭐️ still ended up with a wad of USD. People still carry and use cash, and I forget this 🤣

🍊 💊 Did I OP anyone? Nope 👎 did I start opening eyes? 👀 yes 👍

We gotta take what we do into the wild and directly to the normies.
