I asked this before, so it's probably still in the backlog but, what information can a phone provider still see when using tor/VPN? Is there any major difference between Android/iOS?

The net provider sees the ip of your VPN service and the amount of data transmitted.

There is no major difference between iOS and Android regarding what your net-service-provider sees.
