Oh I would give almost anything to be able to read the original texts. I know KJV is far from perfect, but its not corrupted by modern fuckery at least.

Something I heard recently was that the Book of James in the New Testament was not originally called James. It was called Jacob, which was the Hebrew name of Jesus' brother who wrote it. But King James wanted his name in the Bible so the book of Jacob was renamed James!
And if you look at the Greek title of the book, you can see it looks more like Jacob than James 😄:

Oh wow. This I never heard of before, but that's definitely a translation of Jacob. One need not understand ancient greek to see that.
