most people live in a cult.

brainwashed

under mk ultra influence.

you cannot discuss anything with them.

if it does not match the narrative of the cult,

they do not want to discuss it, do not even want to listen.

it is impossible to change the mind of a brainwashed cultist with facts and evidence.

you could show him a picture of an elephant and tell him: "this is an elephant"

he will not believe you. he will accuse you of lying or making it up.

you could fly to africa with the the cultmember and show him a group of elephants

telling him that those are elephants. the cult member would dispute it, call you names and fly home, never talking to you any more

When talking to a cult member, it is important to stay positive and find subjects of mutual interest in order to maintain and/or build upon your rapport. Be friendly, reasonable and look for areas of possible agreement. Be aware that destructive cults often lie to new members about their true intentions through untruths or distorting vital information so it appears more tantalizing at first.
