I agree, I would protect my family as well, but at least pardon Ross Ulbricht #FreeRoss, Snowden … at least do some good while you are using the power.
On the bright side, this ought to make it a lot easier for Trump to pardon whomever he wants.

Hmmm... I don't even really feel like I can hazard a guess. I know he said he would, but I might even put less stock into what Trump says than what Biden says. I kind of feel like he would have promised to hang Ross if that's what he thought the audience wanted to hear. Ultimately, I expect Trump to do whatever is in the best interest of Trump; and, I have no idea what that would be with regard to Ross.

I agree about Ross and Snowden, but I genuinely don't think a member of the establishment actually thinks that way, or that it would be a good thing from their point of view.
I believe they genuinely think that Snowden is a traitor.
From an establishment point of view, Snowden told everybody that you, the establishment, were spying on everybody without telling everybody
If you thought spying on everybody was wrong, you wouldn't have done it.
If you think everybody should know what you were doing you would have told them.
Granting those additional pardons would likely put his family at greater risk. Irony is everywhere at a high enough level of politics

Either they have never met a politician before; or, they really just saw themselves as nothing more than Biden's public relations department. 🤔
