Beautiful. Can you point me at some grape growing resources for the central Texas area? I have a good chunk of land and I would like to get some vine going. Not sure where to start.

Fair enough. How did you choose your vine? Did you do soil tests first?

Honestly man I was 10 when my dad planted the vineyard and we just sent it on the second vineyard based off the success of the first.

Your best bet is to ask every vineyard around you what works well for them. Your wine IS your location.
