Don’t get dental insurance. Max they will pay is generally $1500/yr with many exclusions. It is almost always cheaper to get a cash discount with your dentist or see if your dentist has a membership plan for cleanings.

You are so welcome. We actually had patients who were paying more for their private pay dental insurance than they used each year in our office so we started the membership plan. A good dental office plan should be less expensive than you would pay cash for 2 cleaning + x-rays each year and will give you a % discount off all your dental work without pre-existing exclusions. Usually 15-20% off.
