I witnessed something shocking tonight.

My sweet little cat had a fight with a turd that was trying to leave his body.

It was a 3-act drama.

It was so wild, the other cat and I made eye contact, confused and grossed out in the middle of it. We shared a moment.

He has the zoomies now, so he appears to be ok and light as a feather 🪶 otherwise I’d be concerned.

Act 1. The whistling fart. 💨 in all my years of having animals, even taking care of horses, I’d never heard anything like it. It was loud. This is where the other cat and I began eye contact in our confusion. What was that sound? Did it come from inside the house? Did it come from… omg 😳… there…?

It sure did. 🤯

Act 2 & 3. Hard to tell the order it happened. There was a gunshot. The object fired from the poopshoot with such velocity, it hit the wall of the litter box with a THUD. There was then a fierce, defensive growl. My sweet cat fired his laser eyes at that turd 💩 and the fight was over.

He had won. 🏆 he began feverishly burying it, waving one paw in the air, like he was clearing smoke. 🐾
