This isn't because Bitcoin is captured, it's because the economy is captured. You only need fiat because the economy is being gated by fiat.
It is because BTC is transparent and not fungible.

I agree with you, but reliable transactional privacy is critical to not enslaving ourselves.
Preventing governments from corruption is also critical.
This is why bitcoin has a anonymity set delta that favours the bottom of the pyramid.
