GM Robin. This year I’m going to try direct sowing everything. I’ve been collecting clear plastic bottles from friends and neighbors that drink soda and whatever. Cut the end off the bottle and put it over the seed. Single plant greenhouse!
should be fine as long as you can keep the rabbits out for the tasty little tidbit baby green leaves
I start the majority of my garden plants at home. I might browse through a greenhouse or two in the spring to see if there's anything unique or interesting that I don't have.
It's really expensive to fill up a large garden when you buy all of your plants. Also, some varieties that I like are not available in local nurseries for any amount of money.
I will be starting onion seeds here in February. Can't wait!
