The internet is amazing because you can be anyone. All physical aspects are irrelevant. Your entire character can be a creation, with no connection to any real identity.

However, this also makes it difficult to form deep, meaningful connections. You cannot build a powerful community if it is full of fake people who only loosely know and trust one another.

#nostr has the best digital community so far. Our generally shared values of freedom, integrity, and #V4V have led to lasting friendships. The memes and inside jokes help, too.

But I believe we can take it to the next level.
