I wonder if Alana and Barry would agree to release Dirty Coin movie to the public for free if we, Bitcoiners, crowdfunded.

Imho this movie is too valuable for entire Bitcoin global debate to keep it in the dark, but I understand the producers have some monetary expectations for the amazing work they have done.

Is anybody though about this?

I think the thinking behind this business model is that there is already plenty of bitcoin mining information available for free. This way, the film preserves its uniqueness.

I agree there is plenty of information available already, there wasn't anything in the movie I didn't know, cause I closely follow the topic. But to combat ignorance and missinformation about Bitcoin, this movie is brilliant. All information is presented in compact way and the team behind the camera delivered PoW by traveling to the sites.

If anyone argue Bitcoin is bad for environment, I would love to show it this movie.
