Why the three years ?

It discourages people to use it though. Imagine having to wait 3 years to spend your paycheck
I understand. I guess it’s not for everyone. Perhaps they want to build low time preference plebs and long term stackers. It is easy for me as I have not touched my stack in over 7 years. But I understand why other people may find it difficult. 🙂
Not saying this is bad, it's definitely a huge step in the right direction and would love to see it happening in every country
