Dogwood on the left there has seen better days... It was neglected before we bought the house some years ago and it's got some sickness and is hit/miss every year. I'm planning on cutting it down and doing 2 cherry blossoms 🌸 on either side of the sidewalk. The backyard has the garden and natural lawn. Front is manicured. Best of both worlds.

Nice spot. There is a type of dogwood called cornus mas that has edible fruit. I have it growing here in SC
