Today I watched a Telugu language movie named "Court: State v A Nobody" on #netflix.

Story revolves around a fake child abuse case against an under privileged boy with a motive of displaying power politics/caste politics. This is still a reality in India. And the common psyche that a boy and a girl always thinks about $3x and nothing else is still prevalent. This movie also discusses how the POCSO Act is being misused. (POSCO = Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act of 2012 in Indian Penal Code. This framework establishes special courts for speedy trials. And by definition, anyone under 18 years of age is child. Even if the victim is 17 years and 364 days old when the crime happens.)
