Demand for block space and the priority of your transaction. If there is a high demand for block space if you want your transaction to confirm faster you will use a higher sats/vb fee. Or do you me specifically why rn now?

No idea as far as I’m concerned it looks normal. It’s been higher in the past there are always periods of higher and lower fees.

The blocks dont look like they are filled with inscriptions like when mempool was full of inscriptions a few weeks ago... I dont know but I love to see high demand for block space :)

Don't quote me on this cause I'm not 100% up-to-date, but I thought it's still to do with what they call ordinals, basically images in part of the transaction data, some new way to mint and save on chain if I understood correctly.
