StableDiffusion and opensource image generation ai that can run on your computer... either with InvokeAI (very easy to install) , or Automatic1111 (less user friendly) :-)

Both are for local installations .... This allows you to use your own resources and dont have to worry about a dependency on a online service.

Either. If you have the hardware, run at home. If not, Google Colab has a pretty fully featured free tier. Check this page, have fun down the rabbit hole 😂
