You, of all people that I have listened to hours upon hours from a fountain of based knowledge, I would certainly expect to assume that at least one bad actor (with ulterior and less-than-maxi motives) has snuck their way into the trusted circle of the Bitcoin Core team and supporting followers.
yes but i think resorting to calling all core contributors bad actors would be giving that individual or individuals exactly what they wanted
Thinking on this more, I disagree that the bad actor wants for the entire Core team to be labeled as bad actors. They don’t want that. They want to continue as-is, subtly, undetected so they can continue their campaign of long-game erosion against Bitcoin’s ethos.
