I think there is a segment of bitcoin maxis who are maxis because they struggle in the fiat system.
They believe in the decentralised alternative because they hope it will someday give them the upperhand on everyone they despise.
Just an observation.
The people they generally despise are corrupt and evil, just playing devils advocate
